Ethiopia Yirgacheffe Grade 1 Worka Sakaro is the product of a farmer named Hirbe Gasha, who grows coffee on his family-owned 8.3-hectare farm in the Worka Sakaro community.
Located in the coveted Gedeo Zone of Ethiopia, the region boasts the highest growing elevations for coffee in the world and produces some of the most beautifully perfumed and candy-like natural coffees found in the country.
The Ethiopia Yirgacheffe Grade 1 Worka Sakaro provides a great opportunity to taste an excellent coffee from a small independent farmer whose family has been growing coffee and supporting the community for generations.
We've chosen a lighter roast profile to highlight the brightness and subtle floral / fruity notes of this exceptional single origin from the "birthplace of coffee".
We recommend a pour-over method such as Chemex, V60 or Kalita Wave to fully enjoy the complexity and aromas this coffee has to offer.
